Baby Shower - Diaper Cake

Below are pictures of a diaper cake I made for a baby shower. It was the first diaper cake I ever made, and I think it came out pretty good for a first try.

If anyone is interested, it can be purchased here.

Beach Wedding Hair

In early July, I was a bridesmaid at a friend's beach themed wedding.  I wanted my hair out of my face so I wore my hair in a curly side bun with a star fish pin.

My 2 Favorite Concealers

At the moment I am loving 2 concealers. One is very different from the other but they both work for me and I've been using them for a few months now. The first one is the Garnier Skin Renew Anti-Dark Circle Eye Roller.  The reason I love this one is that it's very creamy and very easy to apply and blend in. It totally hides the dark circles under my eyes. I feel that this one gives me light to medium coverage and it stays on all day.

The other concealer is the NYX HD Photogenic Concealer.  I am in the shade light.  This one is a little more of a heavier coverage.  It takes a bit more effort to blend in but it gives flawless coverage.

Lately I've been using both at the same time; one on top of the other.  What I do is I apply the NYX HD Concealer first and blend that one in and then apply a little bit of the Garnier Skin Renew Concealer and blend that one out on top of the NYX concealer.  I feel that this gives me the perfect coverage of my under eye dark circles.

Tarte LipSurgence Lip Stain In The Color 'Amused'

I received this product in my Birchbox and have been using this lip stain for about a month now and am truly happy with it. It does everything is claims it does. It goes on smoothly and it feels more like a lip gloss than it does a lip stain. Most lip stains leave my lips feeling dry, but not this one. The color "amused" is a hot pink color which looks amazing on my lips, lasts all day and is such a nice pop of color.

It does not contain parabens or sulfates which is definitely a plus.
